When it comes to boosting your paycheck on TikTok Shop, it's not just about finding products that sell like crazy.

Anyone can find a product that someone is promoting and post their own copycat video within a day or two.

… (and YES many creators do)...

HECK! I ALMOST DID!!

In my podcast episode, I shared my initial game plan was to create a channel with my daughter. A cool idea in theory…

…the only problem was that I was feeling resistance.

While I couldn’t pinpoint what was feeling off about it, that resistance eventually led me to discover my NEW path that feels far more authentic and exciting!

Instead of promoting products just to chase the dollar, what if I discovered and shared products that are helping me hit my personal goals?

What are my goals right now?

... and that’s when it hit me…

I want to lose weight.

My next thought… What if I could get PAID to lose weight?!

And what if I could lose my spare tire and get my dream body by the time I move?!

So here’s my goal: I aim to lose 50 pounds in 60 days!

As of right now, I’ve lost 19 pounds in 23 days!

With only 37 days left on the clock I need to discover products that can help me accelerate my results and break through plateaus.

And get this… I found them!

Curious to know how I discovered them? I used an online tool called, Kalodata.

How Kalodata Saved Me WEEKS of Research:

In the eCommerce world, product research was key. You don’t invest in buying products without first figuring out how much you could make in the best and worst case scenarios (and everything in between).

That’s why I was SO excited when I found Kalodata. It’s product research for TikTok Shop sellers and affiliates!

At the click of a button, I had access to all of the best selling products on TikTok! Not only that, but I found several losers that would have gone nowhere… FAST.

But the one thing I loved most about Kalodata is that it shows me what videos have been selling the most of those products. So not only can I spot the great products, but I can see the path of how to sell more of them faster using other content as a guide!

It’s commission-hacking at its finest!

Choosing Products That Will Help Me Lose 50 Pounds:

As I navigated through the vast array of products on TikTok Shop, my primary focus was on finding items that could support my goal of losing 50 pounds in 60 days.

Again, at the click of a button, I could easily filter for health and weightloss products that were proving effective for others.

From fat-burning supplements to portion control containers, to tea kettles for my bone broth. I carefully considered each product's potential to contribute to my weight loss success.

Within hours, I had a list of products that I felt confident would help me get great results and that I was legitimately excited to try.

How I Figured Out If They Were Good Or Not:

While sales numbers and trending videos are exciting, I also had plenty of experiences where I jumped into poor products too fast.

So rather than try and share those products blindly, I scoured Amazon reviews, read testimonials from real users.

While I could have bought them on TikTok Shop, I wanted them to get here faster... so I found the same companies on Amazon. Thank you 2 day shipping!

After researching their reviews, I removed products from my list that were not going to cut it.

My main goal is to use products that work… not peddle junk!

Building a Balanced Product Portfolio:

As I was choosing products, I remembered watching a Russell Brunson’s video about supplements.

He had a bodyhacking guy come to his home, and was excited to show him just how healthy he was with his collection of supplements.

The bodyhacker looked them over, and fired a truth bomb… the quantity of supplements he was taking was likely hurting NOT helping his body. In fact, they were probably toxic!

Even though I was finding loads of supplements, that line stuck with me. I only wanted a few core ones… but what else could I try and share? That’s when my search widened to electronics, clothing, and even a mug!

By offering a diverse range of products, my goal is to provide value to my followers, regardless of where they are in their weight loss journeys.

Monetizing My Journey While Staying True to Me:

While the potential to earn money through product sharing is certainly appealing, I refuse to to compromise my integrity for the sake of a quick buck.

So whether this works or not, at the very least I’m giving MASSIVE value and a great story for my audience.

Kalodata is just helping me create and tell my story faster by making the whole product research process faster for me.

Final Thoughts

Finding the perfect products to promote on TikTok Shop is about more than just chasing trends or sales numbers. For me, it's about aligning my products with my story… even creating my story with awesome products that actually work!

And while my journey won’t always be weightloss, I can create an impact for months or even years to come… all from the research I’m doing with Kalodata!
